Most people, independent of gender, believe that it is not possible to get fit and strong after they’ve hit a certain age.
For many years, there wasn’t any information available either, and most fitness places, like gyms and studios; as well as fitness adds for equipment, classes and supplements, and other fitness related marketing were mainly focused on the less than 30 population. And for the rest of us, we had to deal with the magic detoxes, waist trainers and surgeries that would make us look 25 again. I’m extremely grateful to be alive on this day and age when we can see several fitness professionals as well as scientists looking into the importance of staying active as we age and bringing us different options to do so.

For years on end, I would walk into the pharmacy whenever I went downtown…
See, back when I was a teenager, I didn't have a bathroom scale. I wasn't happy with the way I looked either. I just didn't... feel good in my own body. We all have different goals in life and these goals may change for the same person overtime.
Physical or mental goals are always present for human beings. The real task is not thinking what we want. The hard part is getting it done. I will speak from my knowledge area: health and fitness. But these points I will mention, can be applied to other areas as well. We want to eat better...
We want to buy less processed, healthier ingredients… We don't want to sacrifice our taste buds to the fitness gods... BUT... we have no idea where to start! We’ve all been there. We want to start exercising and the first thing that comes to mind is YEY (or ney for some!) CARDIO!
Well, let me let you in on a not-so-much-of-a-secret: cardio is great but what form of exercise you choose, depends on your goals and also on your likes! Both, weight training and cardiovascular exercise bring diverse benefits to our health So it is important we do both. But why? Most of us will inevitably spend many hours sitting at a desk and using a laptop. Be it because it's part of our job or because we like to chill and play games or watch a movie.
Even as a trainer I get to sit for a bit more than I'd like, but it's a necessary evil to bring you my best. So, if sitting for so long is difficult to avoid, how can we make sure we are active enough to maintain our general health and avoid those dreadful back pains? Grab a chair, sofa, bench at the park and get stronger with this full body workout Toma una silla, sofá, banco en la plaza y empieza a volverte más fuerte con esta rutina!
